Sue Lauber-Fleming

Sue Lauber-Fleming, RN, MA, LCSW, is a psychotherapist in private practice with her husband, Patrick Fleming, in St. Louis. She trained extensively with family therapy pioneer Virginia Satir. She has over twenty years of experience working with individuals and groups and addressing a variety of psychological problems. The focus of her work has been bringing healing to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, including those abused by clergy. She is herself a survivor of clerical sexual abuse. In more recent years, she has been providing group and individual counseling to priests who have abused.
Sue has been a psychological and organizational consultant to several Catholic religious communities and teaches and has facilitated year-long community-building classes for the international novitiate of a religious order of men for the past twelve years. Sue is co-author of Soul Light for the Dark Night.
