Pennie K. Johnson Carnes, LPC, CSAT, is a clinical therapist who has a passion for working with congregations and their church members who are suffering from addiction, primarily sexual addiction. Pennie Carnes is CSAT trained therapist with 10+ years of experience in residential treatment centers, private practice, and in-hospital settings. She holds dual licenses in Texas as an LPC and an LCDC. She is also licensed in Minnesota as an LPC. She is only providing virtual therapy currently.
Pennie is the co-author of Shadows of the Cross: A Christian Companion to Facing the Shadow. She is the creator and author of the T.O.P.S. (Treatment of Prostitution Solicitors) workbook and facilitator guide.
