Mari A. Lee, the co-author of Facing Heartbreak: Steps to Recovery for Partners of Sex Addicts, is the founder of Growth Counseling Services, with private practice therapy and recovery offices located in Pasadena and Glendora, CA. In addition to the clinical work she does with sex and love-addicted clients and their partners, she leads weekly recovery groups for both men and women and facilitates weekend communication workshops for couples. Writing has been a lifelong passion for Mari, and she has just co-authored her first book for the partners and spouses of sexually addicted individuals, Facing Heartbreak: Steps to Recovery for the Partners of Sex Addicts (Gentle Path Press 2012). Mari is currently working on a new book for women on healing self-image through balance, connection, and creativity while recovering from relationship and abandonment wounds.
